Refurbishment of 2nd floor Space into CAMHS unit, Brixton

South London and Maudsley NHS Trust leased the end floor of a local school in Brixton, for use as a CAMHS hub for the local community.

The works mainly include redecoration throughout, new flooring to areas, new partitions and ceiling upgrades to form new spaces within existing classrooms, new benching to areas, upgrade of existing WCs into new anti ligature compliant toilets, including new doorsets. New reception area, full electrical installation throughout including new lighting, power, data and access control. Ventilation alterations to areas with new layouts and full plumbing installation to new WCs. New fencing was also installed externally to separate the school and nursery from the main entrance to this new unit.

This project took a while to start due to issues with the lease, but Theobalds and the trust were happy to see this project through to completion successfully.
