Theobald’s were awarded these works through the standard tendering process, but also benefitted from the successful completion of a recent project who the client was also a member of the PCC on.

The purpose of the works were to create an existing single storey building, into a two floor office space for the new offices of AW Financial management. This required the full strip out of existing ground floor area including existing walls and partitions and the standard soft strip items. Installation of new steelwork to provide the framework for the new mezzanine floor, installation of new posi joists to steelwork boarding out of entire new first floor space. New rooflights were installed, installation of partitions to first and second floor areas to create new offices and meeting rooms, full electrical re wire throughout and plumbing to new WCs. The works also included the standard finishes including new flooring, full redecoration, tiling to bathrooms and paving to external entrance pathway. Due to the clients requirements for a sustainable and long term heating/cooling throughout the building, a new air conditioning system was design and installed throughout incorporating ceiling and wall mounted units to each area.

This project was completed and handed over in time for the clients end of lease on their existing office space. Theobald’s were also invited back several months after completion to install a new shower room to an existing cupboard, for staff use that commute in via cycling.
